A free workshop on networking computers to share resources like files, printers and Internet connection will now be conducted regularly by Filipino Computer Club – Dubai and Northern Emirates exclusively to its members.
Participants would be able to save time and money and enhance the productivity in home or small offices.
The workshop is handled by Eng. Milo Torres, chairperson of the committee in professional development and a specialist in web application development and computer networking.
The workshop highlights the least to know about computer networking as well as the necessary tools and gadgets to build a small network.
The workshop also demonstrates how to make and test patch cords, connect or install extension cable and configure IP addresses and workgroups.
The second batch of this “Practical Networking” workshop is about to kick on Friday, 1st of May 2009 to be held at Rewaq Cultural and Educational Center in Al Twar from 6pm to 8pm. It will run for three consecutive Fridays.
